Thank you! That would be definitely easier (sizevise) than a sulcata. Will read the info now. Would you say I should let her be buried or dig it out so I can tend to it? Don’t want to stress her too much
It’s now buried in the ground so I don’t want to disturb him/her. I have left big shallow ceramic plant saucer filled with fresh water and fresh lettuce near his hiding place. Once I catch him out of his burrow I will do! Or should I dig him up? Feels wrong to me. But I have no experience
Hello everyone, we have found this tortoise in our garden (left there by previous owners who left the country).
Could someone please advise what kind of tortoise this is? One friend suggested a sulcata.
Also what age it could be?
