I live in Palm Beach County. I have a male RF tort about 8 years old and a female about 5 years old.
I set up an outdoor space in my yard. They’re happy. I move them inside if a storm or hurricane is coming.
Your RF is welcome to join my guys, but you need to arrange transportation.
Looks like my Paco! I got mine already pyramided; but the pyramiding stopped progressing once he had his own pen outdoors where he can roam freely in a large space with sunlight and shade; and his very own cave. Enjoy your red foot guy! There’re awesome!
I live in Florida and have 2 red foot torts. They live outside in separate pens (due to size difference). When it gets cold outside or a storm is coming, I simply move them inside the house. I’m currently building a nice area with drainage and all the works, for my two shelled kids. Make sure...
That’s a real palace! Great job!
How do you know it’s a girl? I have two torts; one is year and a half old and still can’t tell whether or not it’s Romeo or Juliette....
I have given antibiotic shots to my red foot tort Paco to treat an infection and he got better fast. The vet had to run blood and stool tests before prescribing the antibiotics. Good luck with your Yoshi. Hope the vet is a good compassionate one.
