I just got it at Orchard Hardware, but I don't expect it to flower right away it's pretty small right now. If it does I'll leave it for a year before feeding him, I like hibiscus so I'll be the experimenter I guess, I've been putting it in homemade ciders.

Those are big! The one I got is small now, how big should I expect it to get? I'll be putting it on my balcony in a pot, the lime tree seems to thrive that way as well so far

I just purchased a hibiscus plant since the flowers are supposed to be really good for tortos, I'm not great with gardening but getting there, any tips on keeping it alive would help. I've managed to maintain a mini lime tree going even after the LA heat wave so I'm not hopeless.

Yeah I also am not sure if he’s Russian or Greek. I was told he’s Greek from the person I acquired him from. Russians seem a bit bigger but I’m no expert. I’ll try the athletes foot cream

Since the cream it has remained the same, only applied it for about a week and I’ve stopped and he’s a little grumpy but not nearly as crazed as before

No just a lamp from above, it gets pretty hot in the summertime especially so I don't add extra heat other than a basking light

I got pictures to work! For reference the white stuff is the cream. This was pre soak and that is not something he produced himself it is generally dry shell hard to the touch. This is the best pic I have rn

It doesn't show signs of a fungal infection, no smell, secretion, it's dry but like a chunk of shell came off at some point I'm not sure. He's otherwise fine in terms of eating pooping and peeing, just really aggitated
