I just want to update how are the twins doing.
They were born in February, and despite they are still tiny (22 grams) they are doing great.
The other 3, that were born January-Frebruary are also doing great!
Best regards.

It resulted that the third egg clutching had twins joined by the yolk sack.
I already clean them of substrate and are in a small brooder box.
I saw some videos describing the procedure to separate them using dental floss filament as a suture. But what is the correct timing to perform the...
As I mentioned in a previous post, Jacinta laid 4 egg clutches.
August 28, 2 eggs.
September 21, 1 egg (broken).
October 16, 14 eggs.
November 12, 10 eggs.
The first hatchling of the first clutch was born January 1st (126 days). The second one of that clutch was not fertile.
Today the first...
One of Jacinta’s first 2 eggs hatched yesterday after 126 days.
I am really excited despite I am not at home and it was a friend who enjoyed all the process.
I think the second egg is not fertile, but I will keep it at the incubator a little bit longer.
Here is the pick!
Happy new year to...
Today is a beautiful day in Monterrey. Weather during autumn is the best of the year, and Jacinta enjoyed her bath.
She may not be Sudanese or Ethiopian; but she is getting there in size!!!
Best regards to all !!!
On July 18th I got Flash, a Leopard male with the intention of forming a breeding couple with Jacinta.
Today I found Jacinta digging a nest and laying at least two eggs.

As the past few years, they hibernated from mid November to early April in their now favorite spot (the water boiler area). Last summer Marty spent...
Hi friends.
Yesterday I visited Fort Pierce State Park and this little buddy gave us a great welcome reception! Someone can let me know what species is it?
Here is the pick.
Best regards.
This big terracota plate has been the best item I have found for Jacinta’s drinking water. Shallow, not tall and with big capacity, about 2-3 litters. Also she can get inside and refresh!
