I’m thinking of making a custom acrylic cover for my wooden tortoise table since keeping humidity high in an open top enclosure is impossible. I am leaving an gap that’s just under one inch wide, along the edge. Is that gap going to drain all excess humidity? Should I make the cover more air...
I guess if s/he's not swallowing down what came off the rock it is probably OK. But no one can guarantee that so I am thinking throwing out the plastic rock.
I’ve got this nine months old RT and recently got a decent sized enclosure. I noticed that s/he starts to nimble/chew on the floating rock which is a big piece of plastic that’s under the basking light. You can see the white bite marks.
