I'm gonna have 2 torts now:) My cousin has a tortoise named Bowser and he is giving it to me because he doesn't give his the attention it needs. I'm pretty excited because Bowser is a great tortoise and Michelangelo will have a friend at home.

I hear a lot of back and forth about eggs. Someone said it's a good source of protein for the torts but someone else said not to feed them eggs, with no real reson why. Any thoughts or opinions?

I need to learn as much as I can about the care of Russian tortoises. My good friend is getting rid of her russian tortoise and all that I can think about is how it will probably end up in a bad home so I am going to take him for a short period of time.

Michelangelo is in a glass tank and he recently started ramming his head into the wall, in only one spot of the tank. He has never done this before and I'm not sure what has happened to make him decide to do it now. I understand this can be normal behavior for a tort in a glass enclosure but...
