1 year update! Kiwi is now ~2.1 pounds (however accurate a human digital scale can be..) and measures ~6.5 inch.

Could you add some more pictures, e.g. sides, back, top etc. ? At first glance, I'd say he looks healthy, with little sign of pyramiding.

My tort had the same exact white circles - on the scutes mostly and a few on the plastron - when it was 2-3 weeks old. FYI, the will grow larger until they fade away - it's part of the growth! My tort is now 4+ months old and all the white circles have gone away! So nothing to worry about!
