I have been thinking about adding some earth worms to Stewie's enclosure. I figured they could clean up some of the waste that is missed naturally. I have him on coconut husk fibers. It is running between 75-80% humidity. Has anyone else tried this?

I would recommend picking up a Christmas tree box now...or waiting til they come out next year. They are almost impossible to find at any other time. ( at least in my experience) although you have some time...Genevieve is still a little tike.

It is plastic. I cut out two holes just big enough to hold the lights. Have a mvb on one side and just a plain incandescent on the other. There is insulation (the foil type) on the top (inside) and outside on the back. Secured with duct tape...then also taped around the holes for the lights.[hr]...

Needed a project this weekend. Stewie has gained quite a bit of space.

I use the coconut husk stuff from the let store and mix in a brick of the less ground up coconut husk as well. Seems to give Stewie a little more traction and less stuck to him. Good luck... sounds like you are doing great!

Wow he is looking awesome. Stewie is about the same age and due to bad info he is not nearly as smooth :-( but, live learn and found tfo :-) good job!
