Update, Tarry is doing much better already. We are keeping the humidity much higher and doing the carrott and squash soaks. He has much more energy and looks more comfortable. thank you all for the advice
thats awesome!! yeah my redtail was on the large size and was not graceful and hit his prey like a hammer, hence we named him mjonlir lol, when i trapped him he hit the trap so hard it bounced and he hammered the cage inward
ok if I am understanding this, I need to get Gerber baby food, the carrots and squash, and soak Tarry in it like I would in a bit of water? and it should be a small space? sorry this is new to me with a hatchling. I'll head out in a bit to get some

I have already ordered the humidity thermo and new substrate, we had the Mazuri but werent using it every day and I have him in a new 'home' and will build a better one this weekend.

thank you so much! I've never had a tortoise so they're care is new to me. Ive done falconry and had many exotic pets but this is a new one. I'll get these updates to his condition done right away

Hi all, new to the forum. My Sulcata (Tarry) is what brought me here. I am concerned if something may be wrong. I have had him since September 2023 as a hatchling from a breeder. The other tortoise I have had and have are much more active and eat a lot, but he doesn't eat much, doesn't explore...
