    Update, Tarry is doing much better already. We are keeping the humidity much higher and doing the carrott and squash soaks. He has much more energy and looks more comfortable. thank you all for the advice

    thats awesome!! yeah my redtail was on the large size and was not graceful and hit his prey like a hammer, hence we named him mjonlir lol, when i trapped him he hit the trap so hard it bounced and he hammered the cage inward

    Ive already started to see signs of improvement! thank you all for the support and advice. I have already ordered the humidity thermo and new substrate, we had the Mazuri but werent using it every day and I have him in a new 'home' and will build a better one this weekend.

    well we live in Las Vegas NV so its definitely not humid and so that alone then is something I need to fix asap! I'll get a pic of the enclosure and its open not enclosed but I'll send a pic of what we have been using. thanks so much we will read this article.
