Thanks. Yes, the blue stuff is the coroplast. It was expensive for me because I went the easy way out and bought the base from Guinea Pig Cage Store. I'm horrifyingly dreadful at math and would never have been able to measure it out myself.

I have a thermostat to keep track of the temperature but now I'm thinking I should add another ceramic heat emitter towards the center? He can indeed fit under the log but I'm looking into a bigger hide. Thank you.

Some time ago I made my tortoise a new enclosre made out of c&c cubes and coroplast though I never posted it. It is a 2x5 cage. There is a ceramic heat emitter on one end and UV lamp on the other.
