I found this turtle in the road today. I live outside of Fayetteville NC, as you know has been hit hard with hurricane Mathew. I have never in my years seen a turtle like this. At first I thought it was a snapping turtle. But I just don't know. I will do my best to describe it and I am attaching...
I currently live in El Paso tx. Which is great sulcata weather. We are moving to North Carolina later this month. I don't know if I should try to sell my female sully or take her with me. Any ideas comments or concerns?
. Being nosy
We got 8. This is the first time she as dug a nest and laid eggs. In the past I have just found them laying in the yard. The last egg I pulled from the best was cracked but the inside membrane was not busted. I got them in the incubator now.
My Sulcata laid eggs on 12-12-12 I have had them in a incubator since they was laid at 88 degrees and 50-70 % humidity. I just candled them and they look the same as they have from day one. No veins ,no chalking. They don't stink nor are they discolored. Could they just not be fertile? Any ideas?
He is 4 inches long. I have had him since he was a hatchling. He has not eat in a week. I had upped the temps and increased soak times and temps. He won't move and barely holds his eyes open. He just looks sick. Without a vet visit any ideas.
