Well I think I figured out the mystery. My little guy hates red lettuce! I can't believe he is already spoiled.

My Merlin hasn't been eating a lot of the food I give him. He more or less just scatters it around and walks all over it. I have been feeding him red lettuce and green beans. He usually loves green beans. So any ideas why he wont eat?

So basically if the flower isn't toxic its ok to eat?

So how do I know if a flower is ok or not?

I have yet to find a book that tells me which Texas flowers are safe for my little guy. I know about dandelions but what about this one? I usually call them Indian Blankets. Others sometimes call them Indian pinwheels.

Due to my choice of profession my poor little baby Merlin might be left alone for 12 to 36 hours maybe more. I was wondering if there are any automatic feeders or something to make sure my baby has plenty of food?

I have to watch him when I let him out. When I get enough money I hope to get him an enclosure outside so he can't fit under the fence around my yard. Or maybe he will get bigger so he wont fit ;P

Nope it didn't work. I suppose the only option left is to take him outside.

Im not really liking the substrate at the moment after seeing lil Merlin's obsession with digging, hiding then freaking me out. I don't think that I will be using much of coconut bark next time.

Just wanted to give you an update. My little guy now has a name! He is named Merlin because of his cute disappearing act he can do when you are not looking.
