As many of you know my young hermanns tort, Squipperdee, passed recently. Well my boyfriend felt bad and surprised me with this new beauty!! His name is Casey. He's not a replacement for Squipperdee but it's great to have a new herp to love.

I've heard too much calcium can be bad for hatchlings but I'm worried mine isn't getting enough.
She only eats arugula and endive and keeps trying to eat hair and paper and cat food. Eek. I don't let her of course.
She won't eat anything that has touched calcium powder or spray either.

Currently have a five week old eastern hermanns hatchling named Squipperdee. I'll be taking her to college with me and was just wondering how quickly they grow on average and how small the enclosure can be based on her current size.
