I've had my beautiful Russian for almost 2 months now. I was told he was a boy but I want confirmation.
Also I was never told his age, is there a way of finding this out?

Exactly the same happened to me! Trusted the shop to inform me correctly and they didn't! Oh well, now I know and have ordered alternative substrate now:-)
Just wondering what the symptoms of pneumonia are? My tort is healthy and well, but I want to know just in case so that I know what to look for when checking him over.

I just soaked him for half an hour in warm water, and he done the hugest poop! So proud! Haha.
I check the temps every day and they are as they should be, I'm using soil and pellets for substrate at the moment, it's a temporary thing until I get him a tortoise table. I might start soaking him...

My boyfriend bought me him as an anniversary present, he is my first tort so I'm a very paranoid owner. So far I'm finding all the info I need, have thousands of questions but there probably silly ones haha!
