Is there any appearance characteristics that can indicate whether a male redfoot/yellowfoot is a better breeder than others?
For example, more concaved plastron, bigger tail, larger backfoot, larger size..etc?

Just received this impressive dark greek tortoise(almost all black).
Seller knows no to little history of the tortoise, i believe he is a male and is big and heavy at about 7.5" - 8" SCL.
I was told he is originally from somewhere in Turkey.
anyone can help with exact subspecies he belongs to?
never seen this pattern on eastern before . Thats y i ask. Someone told me she is a hybrid(with 3-toed or gulf coast). Just want to make sure.
Also, i was told she is long-term cb(5-6 years old), but she looks WC and much older than 6 year-old to me. What do you think?
