    Leopard in bad condition

Here's a picture of there enclosure. I bought the largest terrarium i could find and put cypress mulch with daily mistings. Also the light is inside the terrarium for temp control reasons. I use a powersun 100watt mercury vapor bulb and have some fake plants and 2 hiding places.

    Leopard in bad condition

Today his eyes opened without being soaked. I wonder if its because I moved him into a lage terrarium for humidity and easy temp controls...

    Leopard in bad condition

He seems to be gaining lots of weight. Shell it's still a little soft but I can feel it getting harder. Pyramiding is still pretty bad but daily 30 min soaks along with hi humidity/temps should curtail it. Eyes are for the most part closed but every onc in a while i see him open his left eye. (I...

Well his shell seems to be not as squishy now that's its been a few days with the new light... He's still lethargic, but his eyes open... So yeah. I have been soaking him with the baby food carrots thing and it really works.

Yes there are black lines on the bottom of his shell.

    Leopard in bad condition

Ok well his shell is pretty soft, but he's only about one or two months old. Also the fact that he's lopsided might effect his shell's squishing point.

    Leopard in bad condition

Yes he's been in the sun. He has an hour of sunning 3 days a week. He eats fine, but like i said before, he just doesn't do anything without being soaked first. And his shell is about as hard as thin plastic.

    Leopard in bad condition

Yeah i dont want him to suffer. He's to cute for me to bear it. If there's a way to treat it though, what is it?

I know this seems like a morbid question, but how long do you think he has...?

    Leopard in bad condition

Ok. So i just misted Down their cage. I will have to constantly have to mist them maybe two or three times a day, to keep up humidity. The only reason it was so low before is that i read that Leos have lungs that cant handle high humidity... I could use a screen from the top of and old terrarium...

    Leopard in bad condition

Ok thanks. But they seem to eat hay... I haven't needed to use any stuff like starving them until they succumb to eating hay or mixing it in with food. They just kind of like it... I have weird tortoises.

    Leopard in bad condition

I guess while I'm at it i might as well ask if my setup is good. Its a 2 x 4 wood tortoise table with one real wheatgrass plant, and two fake plants, and some ATC tortoise grazing mix growing on one side. They have two hides, and their diet consists of spring mix, mazuri, wet Timothy hay, kale...
