I know they eat all sorts of funky stuff in the wild, but I was concerned because she is indoors a lot (too cold for an outdoor enclosure here) and so maybe wouldn't have a great immunity to these things ?

Quick question:
I just caught my redfoot eating a dead, stinky snail (shell and all!).
Charlie is 12 years old so relative to her size it was a very small snail, and I'd say she only got about 2 bites before she was caught in the act.
How worried should I be about this? The snail...
I agree Yvonne. The thoughts of that are gross!
I've had her since she was less than a year old. She was kept alone in the pet shop I bought her from and she has never been around a male (or any other tort for that matter).
Though I would consider getting another female in the future

Just a quick question:
I have one single female redfoot, and I'm wondering if her laying or rather retaining unfertilized eggs is a concern? I know this can happen with snakes so just need to know if its also an issue with torts.
