Hi shanu, Regarding samudra face, its same as cuttlefish bone. Not a human consumable product. This product comes from sea. Used for birds & reptiles. Now this is a local name for that calcium resource. I have researched about its contents. & yes stars eat that only when they really need it...

Dheeraj, U can give a warm bath to him 1ce a week. Clean his shell with tooth brush only. Dry him with soft cloth. Keep in dry place. Clean his poop daily. Try to give sunlight when ever possible. There may b fungus saturated on shell due to wet climate.

If u r in India don't use it... Natural is natural... Even 20min sunlight is enough every day... Its best to have enclosure outdoor.my star is 8 now. All season he is out door.. Active & healthy.

Hi. . stars tend to poop in water & yes it is normal, nothing to worry. As said above... Try to feed natural & give enough sunlight . that's the best medicine .

Seema... even if chotu is taken care by ur friend near by... this is for all.. please take care of ur babies... chotu will get beautiful as it will grow healthy... its our moral responsibility to take good care to save this endengered species. I wish to see the great count in next coming years...
