Yesterday I was cleaning up my Russian's poop and saw dried up worms in/on it! I'm planning on taking him to the vet, if this clears up will i have to take him to the vet for his whole life or only when there is a problem? Also can the worms be contagious?

So if I provide him with proper care and calcium could it heal over time?

Could I use a chlorhexidine solution or bedamine to cure a bit of soft shell on my russian tortoise? I cannot get him to a vet due to vacationing. I caught it early and was wondering if I could cure it myself?

Also there is only one exotic vet in my area and they have had very bad reviews. I have no clue what to do. [hr] would it also be very expensive?[hr] could i use a Chlorhexidine Solution?

I know I should! The problem is we are going on vacation for 2 weeks tomorrow! Do you think with proper calcium/UVB it could heal on it's own? It seems to of not been so soft in the last week or so and is not a huge spot.
