Hey Lismar79 i was curious as to how to harvest the food or do you continually have to replant seeds i dont have much of a green thumb so i have no clue.
thanks zeropilot. I've never been though and I just wanted to check it out. I noticed that repticon started doing those single day cons maybe they don't have as many vendors as the whole weekend ones.
its very impressive did you build it yourself? Also I've seen several posts of mold growth on the walls of tables that aren't treated to be waterproof creeping at the start of the substrate going up. This isn't personal experience as I have yet to finish my own enclosure but its just a heads up.
honestly tortoise pricing make very little sense to me. one species the babies are more expensive than the adults and another species its the opposite. i guess wild caughts are driving the price down and hurting breeders.
I've noticed that sub adults are never on sale my assumption is that they're waiting to be sure of the sex of their tortoise or all their hatchlings get sold long before reaching that age.
I recently purchased a zoo med deep dome lamp with a powersun on the way. I noticed that people mentioned purchasing them at home depot or WalMart however upon searching for them I could not find them. It wasn't until after my zoomed fixture arrived that I saw a thread calling them clamp lights...
Thank you for your responses I ask because I have so far only noticed Russian breeders incubating for females. I contacted lllreptile since they are the only site right now who even have Russian babies available and they did not know the incubation temps of the breeder. I myself have no...
Breeders have you incubated at temperatures meant for one sex and the hatchlings turned out to be the other? I am curious as I am looking for a male and although I know there are no guarantees i was curious how well the incubation temps worked at determining the sex of the babies.
I got some dandelion seeds from home depot and another pack I can't remember what they were but I found a care sheet on www.russiantortoise.net which has a list of edible and non edible plants.
