His basking spot holds 28 degrees celsius, and the cage holds humidity at 60% according to the mesouring thing. he got a big bathing/drinking bowl, which he has been laying in for about 10 minutes now.
He got a heating lamp instead of the heating plate, a 100W infra red thing, and I have a UV...
Loads of posts from my side now, BUT can he perhaps be a Tunisian spur-tighed tort? I got some info from previous owner, and apperantly, he was "imported" from tunis.
@HermanniChris
He wasn't too eager to be taken photos of, as he was on his daily tour into the sun from the kitchen window.
I went and bought him a lamp instead, with a 100w infrared bulb(if this is wrong, i'll go change it)
If the picture of his bottom can help identify species, that'd be...
I'm gonna read up on these things and build him a new home next week.
He is sleeping alot these days, cause its been cold out and the heating is off. So i worry alot for him.
Will take him to the vet aswell to be sure he's fine <3
Here is the setup.
I don't know about the bulb, it's a UV bulb i believe. I'll have to check.
And substrate? What he walks on? Reptile bark. Dunno if its the correct term.
He has a waterbowl, and water in his fond, and we bathe him twice a week for however long he feels like (he goes apeshit sometimes).
I didn't know the bumps came from.dehydration :(((
I'll post a picture.
When i first looked at hermanns, I got thrown off by what i believe is females)(the more Yellow round one). But after some more research i concluded that it is actually a Hermann.
Now to read on what it needs.
He has a "cave" to sleep in, a heating light and a flat Stone with a heating mat...
