Speaking for myself, I have been a member of a boston terrier forum for 7 years so I am familiar with the environment. Tone is difficult to gauge in print and some people take being told they're wrong very personal, regardless of how it is delivered.
I have been on this forum a very short time. I came on here after acquiring two tortoises and showing off the enclosure. Immediately I was advised to separate the tortoises and given tips about the enclosure. I posted pictures of my dogs with the tortoise and was immediately cautioned about...
Yes it is brackish. Pickles is around 3 inches so he's still young. I'm tempted to move him back to the 45 gallon for awhile as my husband does not take care of the tank...we moved him because he spent his days swimming up and down the corner and he does the same thing in the 125 gallon! I...
I have never even heard of those! Very neat.
I have Murphy the boston terrier, Bronson the olde english bulldogge, Pickles the green spotted puffer, an overabundance of mollies and guppies and a sharpei x foster dog named Maggie. I have yet to get a good picture of Pickles
Keepergale what a great looking tortoise! I love the colouring.
Will, my guy does that right now. Every time I come to the enclosure he comes slowly towards me. I was hoping it was because he likes me but I quickly realized it's because he wants food lol
They will never be left alone, I know I can't trust them. We have started to lock the dogs away in our room now since the enclosure is open.
I'm glad your tort survived!
I found dandelion greens at the grocery store. I have one happy tortoise! And after a week of sitting by the enclosure whining, Bronson the Bulldogge was allowed to get a closer look. He lasted around 4 minutes before he started whining and crawling towards us. A little bit every few days...
I found dandelion greens and collard greens at the grocery store today. He was not a fan of the collard greens. He really enjoyed the dandelion and the cilatro I got for him. I always throw away cilantro because I never use it fast enough. Not anymore!
