I was reading an article on this forum the other day that said you can equate tortoise intelligence to a white rat! I could tell they weren't dumb, but white rat level is pretty smart. That means they could be trained Pavlov-style?
My tortoise, Dr. Coffee, has started coming...
While I was soaking Dr. Coffee today, he pooped as usual. Then I noticed one of the poop cylinders broke apart in the middle and a little shirt-button sized disc fell out like a layer in a parfait.
I searched the forums for this to find anything about it. It doesn't look like anyone else...
I just got Dr, Coffee some of that expandable coconut husk stuff for the bottom of his table. I just don't know if he should be chowing down on it like he is. Any other experience with this? Will he get over it?
My friend gave me his tortoise. He claimed it was turning 7 soon, but I'm seeing other Sulcatas on here that aren't even a year old that are approaching his size. You can read my bio for more info on him and how I got him, how he's doing, etc.
