    We are pretty sure that she's a she. She's a yearling and a little over, with SCL of 7.2 centimetres. She is a happy eater (eats a lot).

    Regarding your precious one's current diet, lettuce is a plant very rich in oxalates. Oxalates are the most common cause of kidney stone formation, of course, other than dehydration. I suggest you immediately remove this plant from your choices. Grasses would be a whole lot better. Good luck.

    Hey, Leno and tortie! I, too, have experienced this with my Stars. They do trust their sense of smell a lot that when they smell something they don't like with the food, they won't bother taking a bite of it. They won't even bother going near it. As to my experience, they don't like the smell...

    With what you have got in the picture, I agree with Bducks16. The anal scutes may be a little confusing since they're not going the same direction. Yet, the tail says it's a male.
