I bought an UVA bulb for my Star tortoise because the UVB bulb is currently out of stock. So, will this affect anything?

Hi, I am very grateful to find this Forum. I am so worried after seeing its urates. It is big and gritty as you could see in the picture. I soaked it in lukewarm water everyday but it doesn't change anything. Please help me!
