Hi, is this a fungus? And is it safe?? Please help😊🙏🏻

Hi all, we’ve just noticed the last couple of days that our red foot tort seems to have these small marks underneath the shell. Could this be fungus on the shell or is this likely markings. He loves to climb the rocks all the time so maybe it’s started from this? Any ideas would be great :)
