Are the black spots on the shell natural coloring or algae? Fantastic pics as always, Gerard.

Wonderful! It seems the few times these guys have popped up for sale, they're always really split in their scutes. I suppose all the pretty carapace specimens are sent over to Asia. Or, Gerard just has them, LOL.

There was only a handful produced this year and most went over seas. It was such a weird winter this year, all the turtles down here didn't do what thy usually do. Pseudemys are some of my favorite turtles to keep. I love big turtles and these guys get some very nice shells as they grow.

Also, that is algae on the shell, not a paradox. That would be cool, though.

Wow. I always thought tht albino reptiles were ugly but tht turtle is BEAUTIFUL. Awesome turtle!!!!!!!!

No, my friend produces a couple every year. They originally hatched in a farm.
