does this YF look normal?

The shell doesn't seem to be a normal round shape to me, but I've got no experience with YFs.

No, its pretty flat on top. They ARE long in shape, but with a nicely domed carapace.

Yellowfoots aren't round......They're oblong or variations thereof.......Some are more domed, others are flatter......Depends on the individual.......

Yeah, I expected something about the shape of a RF. This one has 2 corners though, one on the front central scute and one right above its rump. That's what I meant by round and this one isn't round because of those points. The weird thing to me though is that it doesn't look pyramided all over. It's just a weird flat shape on top.

So with that flat-top going on, is that a sign of MBD?

I've seen Yellowfoots come out of both Surinam and Guyana with shells similiar.........Some are more domed, others not so much......
