Hey noticed my russian tortoise Cooper's front legs and neck were flakey. Im a very new tort owner just checking in to see if this is normal. The vet is stopping to check out my pup and run a fecal test on Coop!

It happened to my 2 Hermannis, too. Apparently, they shed once in a while. Soaking reduces it and helps with the process. Just make sure not to pick at it and he should be fine.

Thanks May! I figured it was probably normal. But I have only had him 1 1/2 weeks. Just wanted to be sure.
