The orion 4 shelf. I'm not so sure you can take out the shelves in the other one. And besides that, I like rectangular habitats better than square ones.

I was leaning toward the Orion one mostly because it is cheaper and there is a larger area to walk around in then the square one. I still want people's opinions though!

I go with the rectangular bookcase too. More walking space. And you can cut a hole in one shelf and use another as a lid for a nice hide on one end.
Be sure to line it before adding substrate!

That's why I need a new one... I forgot to put lining in the other bookshelf one I have... He's living in a make-shift one right now till the bookshelf comes in! I'm thinking I can connect the one he is in now with the new one to make it bigger.

Will you need to reinforce the back? I know a lot of these come with a weak cardboard back panel.

True, sometimes you do need to reinforce the back. 1/2" plywood or pressed wood will work. Not as important if the tortoise enclosure will rest on a table, with the liner inside.
