Planning on getting my first tortoise soon (sulcata) and was wondering if it was ok to freeze fresh greens and grass then defrost it to feed them later?
We do alot of gardening this time of year and it would be nice to provide a varied diet all year. I've researched safe plants for them using links provided in this forum and there are so many plants growing now that I could save for winter. But is it ok? Freezing changes the texture of some things when defrosted but they are still edible. Any tips, warnings, or is this just a bad idea?
