Hello everyone!
We are getting ready for a new to us Russian tortoise!
I read the lists for new owners and for the care on this forum. Thanks to those who posted them.
Getting my son to do his research, which he has started...I kinda quiz him and he is doing good.
I have our 4x8 plywood for the indoor table and we are picking a site in our yard for the outside enclosure.
Found out today that our vet office has people on staff that provide care for tortoises.
Q: Can I get some direction on where to aquire Russian? I don't want to go-to a pet store and I'm afraid of what I will get if we adopt.

Hello and Welcome. We do have some breeders on the forum.
You can also watch on CL they will have usually come originally from a pet store though.
