My name is Mary and I am looking to find a tortoise to give it a good home..I live in palmdale and have a house with a backyard that would make a good home for a tortoise.I also have a cat so the tortoise will have a friend thank you.

Is Palmdale near Bakersfield? There's a chapter of the California Turtle and Tortoise club in Bakersfield and they usually have tortoises needing new homes.

No Bakersfield is more up than me...I live more los Angeles area

There are lots of chapter of the CTTC in SoCal. They usually are always looking for homes for tortoises.

Torts and cats don't make good friends. A cat might hurt a smaller tortoise. There are always cats in our yard but our tortoise is big. They ignore him.
