Check out the trout my 10yr caught a few days ago. He made the paper with this catch.

What part of the country are you in, are trout of that size uncommon there?

California, its a planter I am sure. We dont see wild trout that size here.

That's really cool, I know that trout vary in size all around the country.

I've seen lake trout from up in Idaho coming in around near 50 lbs. they look like rainbow salmon.
That's a great trout he caught. Was he beaming from ear to ear, or what? Were I his parent I'd have been teary-eyed for him. Tell him, now he doesn't need to worry about being raised by bears, because he can lead them now!
