Hi CaptainPugwash'sMum:

Welcome to the Tortoise Forum!!

What would you like for us to call you?

Also, when we know approximately where you are, it helps us design our answers to better fit your questions.

I'd love to see pictures of your tortoise. What kind is it?

Hello - our tortoise is a Russian Horsefield and he's quite small yet (about 3 inches long) He lives in his vivarium in our living room, but just wanders around the living room in the evenings once the kids have gone to bed. He likes dandelion leaves and purple lettuce and loves his daily bath. Is it ok to try him with tomato? We live in Manchester, so there's not much hope of any outside time when he's older. I tried to upload a photo but technology isn't my friend today.
