Percy has grown out of his eating dog poop phase. He has grown 2" this summer, and still going strong. He is less shy - he comes out of his shell when I call his name (thanks to hibiscus flowers and the occasional cantaloupe with calcium that I give him).
I don't know how much weight he has gained because I don't have a proper scale He definitely feels heavier. His eyes are clear, his skin is smooth (like as if he used lotion daily), and his poops stopped stinking like holy hell.
He has even gotten used to his dog house - I know where to find him every night and when it starts to rain in case I need to bring him in.
I just have to say that I am in love with my tortoise and how well he is doing.

Seems there is a time when it all just seems to come together and everything seems to be were it is belongs. I love good things happening with torts and the humans that LOVE them.
