I've heard where our Cherryhead can eat Prickly Pear Cactus so I went and bought one. Now I'm confused, do you just give it to them or do you have to peel it for them to get the spines off first? If someone has some good information on other cactus that they can eat I'd appreciate it. Candy :)

Actually, most cacti are edible. And the tortoises eating cactus in the desert seem to have no trouble with the spines. However, your little guy would probably have a hard time eating cactus because he's so small. If it were me, I would peel the cactus and cut it up for him.

When it comes to toxic, its the succulents you have to worry about. Quite a few succulents are edible, but most in the Euphorbia family are toxic. They can eat crassula, echiveria, sedum, to name a couple.
