Subject: WILD: Lastest Cheetah Conservation Botswana news!

Dear Wildcats,

Hello from a very cold wintery Botswana. Its been snowing in the mountains in South Africa and we've been having freezing temperatures at night! Despite the chilly winds we are working hard at Cheetah Conservation Botswana and have had an exciting couple of months.

May and June have been action packed for all CCB staff members. We've started our community workshops in the Western Kalahari Conservation Corridor; initiated our 2010 Best Livestock Guarding Dog in Botswana competition; carried out community meetings in Eastern Botswana; had a school visit from Windows of Hope, a local support group for disadvantaged youth; won 3rd prize at the national World Environment Day celebrations and perhaps most exciting of all, we have transported our 2 cheetahs from the CCB Ghanzi camp to their release site in Northern Botswana. If all goes well they will soon be ready for release back into the wild.
