Hey tortoise forum, I'm looking for a good seed mix for Russians and a young Sulcata. I looked into Carolina Pet supply's mix, and it looks really good, but it's almost $15, before shipping! I am 100% broke for the next couple of months, so that's not going to work. So, questions:
1) Does anyone know of a good cheeper/smaller seed mix? I only need about a handful of seeds.
2) If you have some seeds, would you be willing to trade me for some Timothy hay seeds? I grew a small field over the summer, but I still have tons of seeds left over because I had to buy a big bag. The stuff is really easy to grow, and it does okay in cooler climates, apparently. It would probably grow in pots in a sunny window too. My sulcata loves it, and she wouldn't touch the dried stuff they sell in pet stores.
Thanks!
