Anyone ever have a turtle who just doesnt want to eat? Mine today wont eat and hes ALWAYS eaten! I'm hoping hes not getting sick, hes been fine for the 6+ months I have had him. Do they ever have "off" days?

They all seem to slow down this time of year. If I'm keeping any inside, I raise the temperatures a little, and mimic the daylight hours of summer.

He is an RES, and nothing has changed. And for the past few days he has continued to eat less and less. He does eat a few sticks, but not as much as he normally would.

His instinct will tell him to slow down his metabolism. Increase all the temps by 5F and give him an extra hour of light per day. Fool him into thinking it's summer, not winter.
