Appreciate it!! I think what I’ll do since I love the absorption and humidity is chop it up and put it at the very bottom of the substrate! Don’t want to risk missing a balanced meal for moss lol
No! Get rid of it. Its too late once they get hold of it. Plus that is a lot of work to go through to still have a dangerous thing available. Leaving it on the enclosure is like leaving a sharp knife on the coffeetable when you have a two-year-old human running around.

For "absorption and humidity" you want a two or three inch deep, packed-by-hand, layer of coco coir. Despite what the other places told you, this has proven to be the best way to maintain humidity.
