It's always good to ask on the tortoise forum, especially with all these great keepers who are willing to share info. And especially so with the testudo kids because they are all over the place from a wide range of places and deserts and I don't even think Greek is involved other than the fact that they look like Greek mosaics some scientist one day determined. What? They should be called Mosaic tortoises in my humble opinion. I have two, from PetSmart last year. Could not resist. Love 'em. The big US pet stores seem to be importing them for a few years now. An expert will come along soon to help you with identity but your tortoise has lovely markings, and does look like it was wild caught from my unexpert eye. Love it.
