So can I add earth worms to my tortoise table to help enrich my soil coconut mix to help my grass grow? Also I have pill bugs/Roly poly/ woodlice(whatever name you know them by), will there be a problem with mixing the two critters?

My pancakes don't even eat the grass I grow for them, not sure they will eat the worms.

I have red wigglers in all of my tables for that very reason. They hide under the water dish and in the dark wet places. The torts do not eat them and in the event that they do run across one and get currious, it will not hurt them. It is quite reasonable to assume that in an out door or wild environment a tortoise comes across many things they should or should not eat. I hardly think they would have survived the last couple of hundred million years if the ingestion of an earth worm was a deadly mistake. I have them in with my Sulcatas, Leopards and in my Russian's temporary box. So far both the worms and the tortoises seem to be quite happy with the arrangement.

And as for the pill bugs, many forum members pay good money to put them in their enclosures. They are a popular topic here, lol.

I apparently have a working rollie pollie breeding farm in both of my enclosures. Rollie pollies apparently breed, well, like bugs lol.
My boxie will eat them so every time I see a pile of baby pollies and feel a brief moment of panic that they might be taking over, I remember that I can throw them in with the boxie. He loves them.
I have a bunch of earth worms in the boxie enclosure. I am not sure how many remain but when he finds them under the water dish, when I'm cleaning it out, he pigs out on huge earth worms.
I have been hesitant to add earth worms to my Leo enclosure because of the higher temperature of the substrate. I would assume they prefer it cool and would die in there? Am I thinking wrong?

Okay I will get worms for my torts, I am sure my little rescued boxy will be happy to hunt for some worms too.

My Leo enclosure has tons of worms in it. They do just fine.
