@Prairie Mom Hi Mom. Why are you not happy with your set up.. What species of torts do you have. These juvenile reds are now about about 11 month old and seem to be getting more active and coming out of there hides more. The substrate they are laid in is moist coco coir and is warm. They love to lay in it. To give them an opposite to the warm coco at the other end of the viv its coco but with sphagnum moss on top. The moss does NOT hold heat like coco so this gives them chance to cool down if required. They do bury in the moss aswell.
At the end that they are layed in coco its 32deg at the other end its about 27deg. And at tort level it is a constant 99% humidity except near the glass at the front, drops to about 85% hope this helps
