He wouldn't eat. We had to pry his mouth open. Also, I actually prefer the spray now that I've used the powder. I feel like it's too easy to put too much or to get it clumped up when it's powder unless you sift it. It's probably operator error LOL.

Gotcha. It takes time for torts to get used to anything new. And it looks that in your case, you were short on time and found a quick and effective way to administer calcium, which is great! Truthfully, I dont think one can overdose on calcium, especially having malnourished and pyramiding Sulcata. They need all the help they can get. I am like, spoon for you, spoon for you, spoon for eeeeveryooone! Hahaha, I have 7 in my little rehab.

7! Wow! I wish I had a ton of land, I would open a rescue. It makes me so sad and upset how people treat these sweet babies. I have 3. Two Sulcata's and one Russian. All males. Lol
I think too much calcium can cause bladder stones and other things. Look that one up for sure!

Regarding Calcium, I might have come off like a zealous overdoser, but all the supplements we use are well measured, from Calcium with vitamin D to Nopal powders. Plus, when torts have been malnourished and have a pyramiding regiment is richer than when there are no health issues.

Lol okay. Yeah Pinky had a rough time for a bit. He ended up passing a stone a year later. His back legs are sooo much better but he still doesn't walk straight up with his MBD. He's a fighter though.
