Soaks every couple days, still drinks a lot of fresh water every morning. Sleeps in the doggie bed every night now. Goes to it at the end of the day from either outside/soak or the inside office "burrow". Looks at its giants like they are stupid if we don't lift the cover for Stump to get in.
S/he's been sleeping in this doggie bed wherever we are, Hotel around Christmas time, Florida, Parents house, Cape May, etc. since winter began. Doesn't want to give it up now that the days are warmer. Today was muggy and 79deg. outside. Walked to the mat, up the ramp inside, walked past the office burrow and went straight to the doggie bed and tried to get in himself.
Room temperature in that room is between 70 and 74. With that temp, when Stump is in there it stays between 82 and 88. For the first few months I used to check every night, now I haven’t in months.
