We soak our tortoises in the morning and night. Use warmer water and replenish the water again 15 minutes later. Over 75% of the time they excrete and after showering them under faucet, we let them roam around in a small room. Also, wipe them dry! At night, we place them back in their enclosures with the heat lamps on for comfort.
