He was previously kept in a tank. We have him in a wood 3'x4' open box with ramps and hide holes. We use the crush coconut bedding, I am not sure what he was in before. I have been cleaning it daily and putting the ointment on it. Today I started using the antifungal cream.

Hello! I just inherited this tortoise and its previous owner mentioned it had shell rot. I cleaned it and have been putting triple antibiotic ointment on it, but I wanted to get opinions on if I am doing the right thing. Please help!

Thank you! I will switch out her water bowl and get a new lamp! We are in chicago so we get pretty cold the house stays at 70 but i have been trying to keep her box warmer. I will try the MVB bulb you mentioned. Hopefully with 2 lamps it will warm up.
