    Night time temperature methods

My little one is about 2.5 months old now and we do a Hydrokable substrate heater plus a black light bulb at night. I am considering getting a CHE though aswell and to cut back on the substrate heater a little as i've been noticing it isn't getting quite as warm as i'd like at night.

    Bulb keeps turning off?

Haha! Great, and apparently it was thread worthy. [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

    Bulb keeps turning off?

I'm using a Solar Glo in a light fixture that my S/O used to have in the garage. It's got the ceramic base and a pretty big, deep dome. It hasn't done it since I posted this, which is sort of odd since I haven't made any adjustments to it at all. Oh wait.. actually, I did make an adjustment. I...

    Bulb keeps turning off?

Sorry, quick typing right now to tend to sick child. I've never experienced this before until this morning. My bulb is in the same lamp it's always in. I think it's an 11-ish inch dome with the ceramic and it is face down. It keeps wanting to go out. I have to unplug the fixture for a few...

Uhh.. Can there be too much humidity?

Thanks everybody. I guess because it was one solid, gigantic brick and had to take so much water to break it up is why it's so moist and humid in there. It lowered to 94% when I checked it about 30 minutes ago. I think during the day I may keep it open for a little while to air it out some. I...

Uhh.. Can there be too much humidity?

Let me start off by explaining the situation. We finally finished building our baby (Sulcata) a more suitable indoor enclosure after being indecisive about a lot of things. At last, I am pretty content with it. I do have one question though. It is essentially a large wooden box. I believe during...

    Koi Pox

I was just reading that there is Carp Pox and then there is KHV (Koi Herpes Virus). KHV is a viral, fatal disease. Carp Pox is the one that creates those big obvious lesions and does clear up with warmer weather.

HI! Im not sure what species of tortoise I own

I don't think this is a statue. The eyes do look a little odd, but compare the motion of the tortoise's left front leg to the rest of its body. I don't know what type of tortoise it is, but it looks nice.

    What are these?

Sorry, total plant newbie here. I was just outside and noticed what i'm guessing is a weed. Accidentally pulled the whole thing out instead of the top flowers. And then we have this medium sized bush by our driveway that gives off these flowers periodically for months. I was just curious...

    New outdoor area for Tank

Mine loves red luttuce too. I think it's probably his favorite thing lol. I try to only give it to him on occasion, otherwise it's probably all he would eat.

    Cooper update.

We have a very small Sulcata right now (which my two year old son is obsessed with watching) and I showed him the new photos of Cooper. He had to stop in the middle of playing with his special "choo-choos" to be mesmerized over him for a minute lol! He didn't even know what to say. That's a big boy.

I feel the breeder didnt take care them at all

10% Humidity? I've only had my Sulcata for a month and just in that small time frame, i've done enough reading to not trust that advice at all. And I know alot of people have already mentioned the pellets still in use so I won't say anything about that. I use a coco coir substrate. It's soily...
