Inside my Viv I have a basking bulb to the right hand side where the temp below reaches, and is regulated to 100f. This gives an ambient temperature at the coolest part of the Viv of 80f.

Just out of curiosity does anyone use a dual dimming and pulse thermostat. If so, is it possible to run 2 separate units of the one ?
So for example could I run a dimming bulb throughout the day then the pulse one kick in at night for the CHE ?
Hey, first time Sulcata owner here and just looking for advice.
I have a Sulcata around 6 months old, since I introduced its new hide a few weeks ago it spends 99% of its time inside there. Prior to getting this hide it was very active, walking around and exploring, picking at food all day...
Tbh I don’t use the disc for any readings, it came with the vivarium and I just popped it on. I have 3 x Bluetooth thermometers/hydrometers throughout various parts of the enclosure which gives me more accurate readings and allows me to gain humidity of above 80% by misting with warm water...
I’ve managed to sort the temperature 😳 feeling slightly stupid 🤣🤣
I had the sensor for the CHE in the centre of the tank, I’ve moved the probe to beside the side of the hide and it’s now giving me an internal reading of above 80f.

Thanks for the reply, I did have the CHE above the hide and found the temp inside the hide itself to remain just under 80. I’ll look into potentially adding and extra CHE and maybe also changing my hide as the one I’m using is quite thick could also be a reason the heat isn’t getting inside ?
